I was born and raised in Spokane, WA and always knew that I would attend Washington State University and that I would leave Spokane when I graduated. And so I did (live now in West Seattle). While in college I learned way more than what my degree required, but what makes me….me today. I have a passion for Ethnic Studies and I love to question common beliefs. Although, I have learned to pick my fights.
My family and friends are very important people in my life. As I have got older I have realized what a huge part they have played in making me who I am today. Of course I have had the typical hardships in my life like my first heart break, deaths in my family/friends, financial hardships and just arguments that have ruined a relationship, but every time I had someone’s arms to fall into.
I have truly experienced the beauty of life through simple pleasures from a run by the water, to a phone call from an old friend, to a kiss from someone I love, or even the sunset from my living room window. Life is really short and really long, so I have so much to accomplish.
